It covers the content of literary theory, including its field of study, the relationship between life and literature, the components of literary studies, plot and composition of literary works, the development of literary studies, its history, and research methods. While primarily intended for students, the textbook is also suitable for other readers interested in the theory of literary studies

In this Methodological manual, these three types of speech activity serve as the basis for distinguishing the colloquial and literary styles of the modern Uzbek literary language. The difference in style and expressiveness of phraseological units is explained by the fact that each of the styles in the language has special linguistic means and methods selected by lexicographers to express a certain content. The predominant use of this or that phraseological unit in any style of language and the expressive features associated with it constitute the essence of these differences.
