Харуки Мураками- один из популярных и известных писателей мира, является страстным коллекционером виниловых пластинок, имея сорок тысяч джазовых пластинок. Его глубокие знания в области джазовой музыки, особенностей исполнительского искусства музыкантов стимулировали написание «лирических миниатюр» в сборнике «Джазовые портреты», который включает 55 эссе о выдающихся музыкантах ХХ века. В заключении к первой части сборника писатель признавался: «С тех пор как однажды я увлекся джазом, я не мыслю без него своей жизни…в голове быстро возникали музыкальные образы, подходящие к тому или иному музыканту. Обратить только их в слова».

The preparation of future teachers transcends knowledge of pedagogy and classroom management. In a period of data-driven decision-making, the ability to conduct, evaluate, and use research results has become increasingly fundamental to teacher development. Research competency demands not just a theoretical knowledge of research paradigms and methods but also a practical capacity to carefully and critically review data. Data analysis tools enable preservice instructors, between theory and practice, turn raw data into insightful knowledge. Included into teacher preparation, data analysis tools enhance students’ methodological understanding, analytical thinking, and reflective practices. This paper discusses the relevance of these tools in developing research competency as well as some specific types commonly used in educational research.
